About us

We are Birgitta and Remco and together with our son Bart our passions are travelling and sailing.

After exploring the Ionian area with a sailboat several times and after having dreamt of it for a long time, we got the opportunity to build a house here in one of the most beautiful bays in Greece so that we could combine sailing with our own place under the sun.

The sun, the friendly and hospitable people, the casual atmosphere—we felt right at home here. This special sheltered place with its fantastic view over the bay, the valley with all those shades of green and the mighty mountains, all continue to amaze us every time.

What we love about this place is the peace and quiet that we experience when we are in the house or when we go hiking in the area. But if we want, we can still be at the lovely sandy beach or the lively bustle of Paleros or Lefkas in no time. The area has many faces and extremes, the beautiful nature, the beaches and the hospitable inhabitants.
